Hindware is a popular brand in Kitchen Chimney and Hobs market segment in India. A few of their models always feature in the best selling products list online. Nevio is one such product. However, they also have a few other models which are similar to Nevio. I have hence decided to compose a blog Comparing Hindware Revio vs Nevio vs Cleo Kitchen Chimneys.
I will be discussing the difference between the three models in details further below in my article. However, if you wish to save time and directly want my recommendation, then you can opt for this particular model. It is also available on Flipkart. Do Click Here to compare prices on both marketplaces before buying.
This product is available in 4 different variations. It is available in 60 & 90 CMs size (will be talking about sizes later) as well as two different colour options, silver & black.
You can choose any of them as per your requirements.
Now, before I begin with the comparison, there two things that I would like to cover. Since these are the two questions that most first time buyers of kitchen chimneys struggle with.
1. What is the difference between 60 and 90 cm model?
If you are already window shopping on online portals, you would have noticed that all major model (including Nevio, Revio & Cleo) are always available in two variations. One is 60 cms and the other one being 90 cms.
So, what is the difference between the two? Which one should you buy?
60 & 90 cm denotes the size of the chimney. I would recommend you to first check the space available in your kitchen before deciding on the size. Each product would clearly mention the dimension of the model on the product page.
Ideally, 60 cms chimney is good for a hob with 2 to 4 gas burners. While 90 cm would provide enough coverage for 4 to 5 burner gas hobs.
2. Water Based vs Thermal-Based Auto Clean Chimney, Which one is Better?
As the name suggests, water-based auto clean chimney uses water to clean the oil deposits on the filters. While thermal-based systems use heat instead.
I won’t be going in details of the workings of both systems in this post. I am planning to write a separate blog post on this topic later.
However, out of the two systems, my personal recommendation would be to opt for a thermal auto clean chimney with baffle filters.
With these two basic questions beings taken care off, I will now proceed with the comparison of these three models. To make it easier to compare, I will be using a colour coded table below.
Comparison Table: Hindware Revio vs Nevio vs Cleo
The table below shows the differences and commonalities between these models. The advantages and cons of each model have been highlighted as green or red respectively.
Hindware offers a uniform 1 year comprehensive and 5 years warranty on the motor across all the three models. So there is no difference between them on this front.
Which Model to Buy?
As is quite clear from the comparison above, that Revio is the best model in terms of features offered. Cleo is a distant third in the race due to the use of water clean technology,
Hindware Revio comes with thermal or heat auto cleaning technology and has more (2) numbers of baffle filters compared to Nevio.
However, due to this reason, it is also slightly more expensive compared to Nevio.
So, if you have a tight budget or if you are looking to buy a silver kitchen chimney to match your kitchen interiors, you can opt for Nevio.
